DOE SIR Grant
September 15, 2009
DOE awards a SBIR grant to Precision Energy and Technology for the program titled, “Novel Hybrid Electrochemical Energy Storage Device”. This project focuses on large energy storage for power plants, substations and large energy users. Precision Energy & Technology is researching alternative energy approaches to large energy storage methods to support grid peak power issues and off-load storage. The result should provide an economical means to reduce the peak demand problems associated with our power grid. The work runs until April 2010.
